MARTIN BLOCH
Frederick Burbach is a brand developer, designer, and educator with more than two decades’ experience strategically positioning brands and creating design systems for major corporations in North America and Europe. In Europe, he led projects for Deutsche Telekom, BMW, Swisscom, Swiss Bank Corporation, SIG, EinChem, Balzers, and The Principality of Liechtenstein. In the North America, he has worked for Diebold, PepsiAmericas, Steelcase, the McCormick Place Hotel, Federated Metals, and the Premier Bank Group. Burbach has a BFA in design from Indiana University, an MFA from the Basel School for Design, and has studied marketing at the University of California. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Graphis, Print, CA, Swiss Business, Hoch Parterre, Cash, and the Tages Anzeiger newspaper. Burbach is an assistant professor of design and design history at Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto.
